Hello, my name is Genessee Klemm.
I graduated in 2009 from University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's of Science in Human Development and Human Sciences. After graduating, I worked for a wonderful non-profit that serves individuals with developmental disabilities and their families called The Arc of the Capital Area. Working with these unique individuals helped me to find the field of Speech Language Pathology. I gradated from University of Texas at Austin with a Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology in 2014. While completing my Master’s degree, I interned at Dell Children's Medical Center and at Perez Elementary School in the Austin Independent School District. I also completed specialized research projects in the areas of fluency (stuttering) and working with bilingual populations. I love traveling and learning new languages (I am working on Spanish and American Sign Language currently!).
I am excited to be joining the EISD team this year and to call Eanes Elementary School my home campus. I am so excited to work with your child and to help them gain the communication skills they need to express themselves and succeed in school. I am looking forward to a great year here at Eanes Elementary School!
